Overview

At O'Reilly School of Motoring Dublin we have years of experience in preparing our clients for their car driving test. Our Essential Driver Training (EDT) plan stretches over the mandatory 12 lessons. On your first driving lesson will we help you understand the basic functionality of a car before driving. We accept single lesson bookings as well as a full EDT booking - see our prices further down the page for more details.

What we offer

We can provide you with a car for each driving lesson if required. Each of our cars have dual controls and are regularly maintained and serviced. We are familiar with popular test routes around Dublin but where possible we can cover personal routes to help increase your confidence e.g your work route.

We also have an option for you to avail of our easy pay plan for your EDT Lessons.

Your first driving lesson

The first lessons of the EDT programme is about car controls and safety checks. The lesson finishes off with some basic move off and stop maneuvers. The overall EDT Programme consists of 12 hours and you receive your stamped logbook to show you have completed your training.

Pre-test lesson

We highly recommend our 1 hour pre-test lesson that will provide you with a chance to work on all your routines before the final test. If you require a car for the driving test proper, then we offer a car hire for the day which will include the pre-test option.
